I've got a web app and I'm trying to add some functionality to it that would allow users to draw polygons on the map, and then get the coordinates for the vertices of that polygon. The measure tool allows you to draw polygons and get coordinates from a point, but as soon as you select the option for Location, the polygon goes away. I'm not certain of the best way to attack this - would it be better to create an editable layer that the user can use to draw their polygons? If so, how would I get the coordinates of the drawn polygon to the user?
