Printing secure AGOL services with a Python GP service

Discussion created by maho on Aug 5, 2012

I have a secure webmap on AGOL and like to create a GP print service (using the ConvertWebMapToMapDocument function) that runs on an Amazon AGS. So the GP service needs to sign in to AGOL from the Amazon AGS using the SignIntoPortal function. The signature for this function shows the password parameter as an encrypted password, but the examples use unencrypted passwords. How can I publish my GP service to AGS without including the password as plaintext in my code?
