spliting a polyline at intersections arcpy

Is there a way of spliting a polyline at intersections using arcpy and ArcView level license?
Any help much appreciated

Might be possible...but my attempts keep running into the ArcInfo requirement wall.

Depending on how many features you have you might be able to do this with the
free-version of the ET GeoWizard though.
I think the feature limit for the free version is 100 feature per layer...

I know ET Geowizards tools and use it  - great set of tools - thank you!

Indeed there is a free version of polyline spliting tools - just the one I would need.
If there was no feature limitation and ability to use it within arcpy scripts that would be perfect for me.
