I do not know whether this is a problem consistent with ARCGIS 10 but i thought i would share this idiosyracy with the forum , to try and figure put if there is a work around .
I have created corporate mapping templates for AGS users within the enterprise , around 10 in all , portrait and landscape with varying page sizes .
When in map creation i am checking the map scale in the map window , it is always different to that of the layout view , for example in the map window the scale maybe 2:2000 , but when i look at the map template the scale is never the same it might be 1:2300 for example , is there any way to make it consistent in both views?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
