I need to joint the x1,y1 and x2,y2 from each polygon of a grid in a table.

Anybody knows a tool? Thanks a lot!

- Thanks! Now it's clear what you need.

Someone might already have a script to do it. But you can try the following steps using geoprocessing tools (requireing ArcGIS 10 and ArcInfo license), assuming your polygons are squares aligned with x or y axis, the shape of each polygon is the same as its envelope with four corners:

1. Run the Feature Vertices To Points tool with the START option to get the start points of each polygon, say the output is startPts.

2. Run the Add XY Coordinate tool to add the xy fields to startPts. The points carry the polygon IDs.

3. Run the same tool again with MID option to get the opposite corner points, which would be the middle points of the square borders, say the output is midPts.

4. Run the Add XY Coordinate tool to add the xy fields to midPts. The points also carry polygon IDs.

5. Run Join Field to join the polygons with startPts to get the startPts_X and startPts_Y fields.

6. Run Join Field again to join the polygons from step 5 with midPts to get the midPts_X and midPts_Y fields.

Does that work for you?
