We are running ArcMap10.0 under a 2008 R2 Citrix Xenapp 6.0 environment. Recently we have begun to use map services that is creating a cache folder under "\ESRI\Local Caches which include "BmLCacheV1, GlobeCache, and MapCacheV1". Once this folder reaches somewhere around 200-300 megs, the user is no longer able to launch the ArcMap application. There is no error, no event log.

Has anyone had any experience with that folder growing to large, too quickly? We are trying to figure out a solution that still allows us to utilize map services with caching. We use Citrix User Profile Management which is similar to Windows roaming profiles. Users who don't use map services don't have the issue. I'm not 100% sure whether it's a user folder size issue (issue crops up when it grows to ~ 200 megs), or if it's a profile corruption issue from that local caches folder that is created by map services.
