arcpy.mapping.ConvertToMSD ... Use Color Transparency?

In Arcmap when you analyze and MXD to generate an MSD, one of the warnings is to Convert Layer Transparency to Color Transparency.

This option is not saved into the MXD...  Is there a way to select this option via python before i generate an msd?
I'm trying to automate generation of MXD -> MSD.
