Joining features to tables - one-to-many relationship. Can I export as new feature?

Is it possible to join features (spatial) to table rows (non-spatial), in a one-to-many relationship, and then export the table as new features?

For example:

say I have 3 pipeline routes as a polyline feature class, and I have information about 8 pipelines in a table that use those routes. What I want to end up with is a polyline feature class with 8 pipelines in it, some of which will be geographically identical but with different attributes.

At the moment I can join the features to the table, but only in the sense that it's just the feature attributes that are joined. I can't export this resultant table as a polyline feature as the actual geometry has not been joined.

Is something like this possbile? I'd like to be able to do this in arcpy ideally.

I hope I made this clear enough...

Thanks
