I would like to display the thumbnails from saved .mxd documents in an image viewer. The problem is I don't know how to convert from the IMxDocument.Thumbnail (an stdole.IPicture) to an image type that .NET understands. Also, the installation documentation says that the Microsoft stdole.dll PIA is installed with .NET for ArcGIS Desktop and I cannot find this dll. Does anyone know where this dll is and how to do the conversion?
I'm working in version 9.3.1.
