Does data interoperability extension support AutoCAD Map 3D 2010?

I'm interested in converting AutoCAD Map3D 2010 dwg files to ArcGIS 10, and wanted to see if the DI extension could be used for that.  In ESRI's DI training, it seems to say that DI only supports AutoCAD dwg files up to the 2009 version.  Does anyone know if that's true, and if so, when DI will support AutoCAD 2010?  Thanks very much!

Hello Janet

Support for AutoCAD 2010 will be included in a future service pack for Data Interoperability.  We hope to have this done mid-year.

Are you interested in accessing object data tables that are created and maintained by AutoCAD Map?

I am interested in accessing the object data tables in AutoCAD Map and converting the layers into a file geodatabase with the object data as a field. Is this possible using DI extension 10.6 or only FME Workbench Map 3D Object Data'-reader?

Hello Map Vis, we are unable to license Map 3D technology for Data Interoperability, but if you already have Data Interoperability extension there is a cross-grade product from Safe Software that can add the few formats FME has but DI does not, Map 3D being one of them.  If you do not have Data Interoperability extension then you can obtain FME at the appropriate license level.
