I use a bing map key to load a Bing map layer in an iOS (iPad) app using ArcGis. It is loading (I had to zoom out to figure that out). The only problem is my graphic (pushpin) that is placed on the map as a result of geocoding, shows up somewhere in the ocean near Africa whereas the address that is supposed to be geocoded is in Virginia, USA.

Is this projection the result of a problem with the spatial reference?

How do I solve this issue?

You have two options...

1. Force your geocoding result to return geometries in the map's spatial reference by setting the out spatial reference while geocoding.
2. Re-project your graphic's geometry to the base map's spatial reference before adding to the graphics layer.
