Hi Guys,
This is my first time and this may seem like a dumb question. I've just started a new job where I have create a point theme from a table which has no x,y coordinates. It has many fields which help me locate where a point should be located. I used to be able to do this in Arcview with no problems but have spent all weekend trying to do this with no success.
Someone suggested I put the table in edit mode and use the drawing tool to point and create the desired location. It kind of works as it creates a point but it actually creates a new blank record, not the one I selected.
Please help. I'd really appreciate it.
