First off I'm using ArcMap 10 and the spatial analysis extension. So I doing a kriging interpolation of some point data the results in some rather small areas of the raster with different values. Like some areas of only a few square meters in size. These areas are so small, they are essentially insignificant outliers that I would like the interpolation to ignore. Is there some setting I can do during the interpolation process or possibly post interpolation to remove/eliminate these smaller areas? I'm thinking like areas that are smaller than 1000 square meters be removed. So basically a minimum area size of continuous and adjacent raster values. My goal is to eventually convert these larger raster areas (greater than 1000 sq meters) to smooth polygon zones. Any help here would be appreciated.
