Dear,

in the ArcGIS Desktop helpfiles about Ripley's K-function there is mentioned the software mathematically uses a common transformation of Ripley's K-function where the expected result with a random set of points is equal to the input distance, being the L(d) transformation.

When i however plot the results on a grid in Excel, it seems that just the K(r) results were calculated. Am I correct, and if so, how can I easily transform my results in Excel?

I know the formula is: http://webhelp.esri.com/arcgisdesktop/9.3/published_images/kTrans.gif

Please help, my paper is due on friday and I'm not an Excel expert at all!

Thanks so much,
Tom
