I am not expert in VB script. I have a soil table with "drainage" field that consists of six attribute values; "extremely well drain" "well drain" moderatly well drain" "somewhat poorly drain" "porrly drain" and "extremely poorly drain"

I want to add new field named "suit_class" with 4 attribute values
1 = most suitable ["extremely well drain" and "well drain"]
2 = suitable ["well drain"]
3 = less suitable ["somewhat poorly drain"]
4 = not suitable ["poorly drain" and "extremely poorly drain"]

I want to write a VB script that automatically convert value in drainage field and add it to suit_class field such as convert "extremely well drain" to "1" and add it to suit_class" field

It have 6000 soil polygon and do it manually is time consuming task.

Can anyone help me to break through this?
