I am trying to re-produce a grid that was created in Arcmap 10 which is based upon a set of irregular points. I have been provided with all of the pertinent information to do so (spherical model, nugget, major range, partial sill, lag size, number of lags, maximum neighbors, directional variogram parameters, and the resulting Mean/RMS/ASE). After interpolating the points and creating a grid in Arc 9.3 and Arc 10, the Arc 9.3 grid differs from the original, but the Arc 10 grid is almost identical to the original.

So I am wondering what is different between the two versions of the software? Are there some additional settings that run by default on one and not the other?
