Set splash screen to close using button or click outside?

I'm trying to set my splash screen to close using both the button (x in top right) or when the user clicks outside the splash screen.  However, when I tick the 'click outside' option is deactivates the button. I can't find any way to reset the button to close the splash screen with the 'click outside' setting ticked. Is this possible?

False alarm. Both button & 'click outside' seem to work fine after publishing the app.
