How to add a toolbar to an add-in dockable window?

I have a dockable window setup in my addin, but want to add a toolbar to the top of the dockable window, just like the TOC control has.  What is the best way to do this?

Option 1) I added a regular old .NET4 windows form toolbar to the dockable window, which is almost what I want except that it is blue and doesn't style to the ArcGIS theme.  First, is this the right way to create a toolbar in a dockable window?  And if so, how do I style is to be like the TOC toolbar?

Option 2) Or, is there a way I can make a "add-in" toolbar (in xml) and place that in the dockable window?  The ESRI help doc says "You can populate dockable windows with any sort of content: charts, slide shows, video, mini-maps, or custom dialog boxes containing other controls???including ESRI controls."  Most importantly that ESRI controls statement... how can I add an "add-in" toolbar to this dockable window user control?

Thanks a lot for any help!
