Capturing daily cases in Survey123

We have implemented the suite of app for a county and they have provided feedback on the use of the Survey123 app with the dashboard.

The dashboard displays number of confirmed cases, tests administered, etc with data via the Surey123 app.  For them, its intuitive to add NEW cases, instead of total of cases to date (previous + new).

Any suggestions on how is modify the apps to so that only new cases are added with an autosum?

So if I'm understanding right your users are adding new cases using survey123 and you want to sum those on a dashboard to show the total number of cases?

This is very doable and you will need to have an indicator widget added and then you can set the statistic to Sum and the Field to the field you want to add up!
