ArcGIS Pro: How to disallow opening same Map multiple times?

I observed that Pro allows opening SAME Map multiple times. How to disable this property?

You can't, it is a 'human-ware' issue.

BUT! it sure is a handy feature since it cuts down on the zoomy thing, since you can simply put two views (maps) of the same data at two different zoom levels, side-by-each

Thanks Dan.

I’m not against having this property. My point all the time is to have it worked based on one’s preferences

That would be an ArcGIS Ideas‌ idea.  They do have the new preference section on the Project Backstage where you can specify whether you want your tables to float by default.  Project Options, then User Interface... that is the most likely location to have those general options placed.  To disallow multiple openings of maps etc would get a lot of pushback since a number of people like that option for the reason I stated.  So try that approach of having those types of activities put on the general User Interface options
