The small utility I work for uses Tyler Technologies Incode for the utility billing for our water customers.  I can have the office workers export the addresses and meter information to a csv or excel file.  How would I go about taking that information and putting it into my attribute fields for my water meter layer in Arcmap so I don’t have to go in and manually enter all of the addresses and meter information?

Have you used the Excel to Table tool to bring the data in, then a Join tool to temporily join the table.  You can then use the field calculator to copy over the data from the joined table to the destination table.

Thanks for the suggestion Dan.  I am still awaiting our office personnel to export the data as it is not a function that they do on a routine basis, they have contacted their tech support for more information on how to perform that function.  When I attempt your suggestion I will update.  Thanks again.
