Dynamic Buttons

Question asked by anthony.jones_RSK_EPD on Jan 8, 2020

Hi,

I've been having a play around with experience builder and have been trying to create an app that is very much driven by the map. Ideally I'd like an app where the contents change as the user moves around the map or selects particular features. So far I've seen that actions can be set for the map that trigger lists and feature info panels to change but I was wondering if there is a way to make things like views, buttons or embedded content sections dynamic based on what is in the map or selected?

As an example I have added a list to my app that is filtered as the map extent changes. The list includes a button for each entry and I would like that button to open a new page or view specific to the particular feature. I can see that I can add a url to the button that can be configured against an attribute to launch a separate web page but is there any way to configure it to open up a page or view in the app specific to the particular feature in the map?

Thanks for your assistance.

Anthony
