I'm trying to find tree canopy density within ZCTA for Connecticut. I have NLCD Tree Canopy data, which is .img, however I'm not sure how to find the density of greenspace for these boundaries. When I try spatial join, it says it needs to be a feature layer, however I'm not sure how to do this with an .img , and different colors of green.
