Offline Use - Time Limit Questions

I read in the Tracker FAQ that there is a 72 hour limit on track storage when working offline.
I'm working with a client that has inspectors travelling to remote areas of Australia; onshore and offshore; who are offline for up to 2 weeks at a time. They are working with Collector and Tracker on Android devices with SD Cards up to 2TB.

First - what happens to tracks older than 72 hours? Are they deleted entirely, or sampled down?

Is there a way to complete and save a track then start a new one every 3 days?

Second - is there a way to override the 72 hour limit if sufficient storage is available?

Track data is regularly analysed and reviewed alongside other business critical datasets.

Hi Nicholas,

Tracks older than 72 hours are only removed if they have been uploaded to the server. So if you are offline for 2 weeks, when you get connectivity all 2 weeks worth of tracks will upload, then tracks older than 72 hours will be removed.

You can always view up to last 72 hours of tracks on the device.
