ArcGIS Desktop 10.7.1 and Office 365 ProPlus

My organization is planning on moving from Office 2016 to Office 365 Pro+. I'm assuming we will need to use the 32-bit version of Office 365 to be compatible with ArcMap.

Are there any known documented issues with using this version of Office with ArcMap or ArcCatalog (e.g., will .xls and .xlsx files still be accessible?).

good evening,

our customer installed Office 365 pro plus 64bit edition on premise and  ArcGIS desktop 10.7.

Xlsx files were not working, esri support suggested to install this edition Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 (32-bit) and it worked. Attention not the latest edition of Database Engine, not the 64bit version.

everything is now working perfect with Office 365 pro plus.
