Hello everyone,

Any idea of how to check for this error in the database. We are using ArcSDE SQL Server.

"Target state not found in the STATES table[STATE_ID = 333001]"

Thanks

Did you know the best way to report issues to ITS is to use the Service Desk system? This will ensure someone in ITS gets your request and allows us to track the progress. Please enter all your issues and/or questions by clicking https://breeze.cape.capecoral.net

We compress the SDE Database daily using batch jobs.

This is what Esri recommends:

Have you tried these tools to help identify the issue:

Diagnose Version Metadata—Help | ArcGIS Desktop

Diagnose Version Tables—Help | ArcGIS Desktop

If there are issues, you can then run the following tools:

Repair Version Metadata—Help | ArcGIS Desktop

Repair Version Tables—Help | ArcGIS Desktop

Note: Be sure to take a full and verified backup of the Enterprise Geodatabase before completing these task.

Hi @George_Thompson

I'm trying to run the Diagnose Version Metadata https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/data-management/diagnose-version-metadata.ht...

and the Diagnose Version Tables https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/data-management/diagnose-version-tables.htm

but what do I input for the Diagnostic Version Metadata Log and the Diagnose Version Tables Log? Are these existing Log files sitting somewhere?

Thanks,

Andrea

I think those would be tables that are created by the tool to record any results. They could be "new" tables in your Enterprise Geodatabase or in another file geodatabase.
