Multipatch Distortion in ArcScene

Hi All,

I need help bringing some Google SketchUp features into ArcScene but am having trouble. The top image show the multipatch when I bring it into a new ArcScene document. The bottom image shows the same multipatch when I bring it into an ArcScene document that already contains a complete 3d model. Both ArcScene documents have the same coordinate system and projection. They also both have the exaggeration set to "none". Any trouble shooting ideas as to why the multipatch is so distorted in that particular ArcScene document?

Thanks in advance! This has been driving me crazy I can't seem to figure it out.

Update...it is only distorted once I add other layers. Still can't quite figure out what is going wrong. Scaling issue?
