Hi there,

Seem to have hit against something a little odd this afternoon in that if I go to enable the Production Symbology toolbar ArcMap crashes.

The issue initial started when I tried to overwrite a view that was already stored in the product library and ArcMap crashed following this I was unable to get ArcMap to launch with it continually crashing on startup. I therefore reset my application profile which allowed me to at least relaunch ArcMap. However, ever since then every time I try and enable the Production Symbology toolbar the ArcMap crashes.

Given that we rely quite heavily upon map views to maintain consistency of styling being unable to launch the tool bar is a bit of a doozy.

Any help would be much appreciated

Cheers

Geoff

Hi Geoff,

Please answer the following:

1. What is the OS of the machine running Esri Production Mapping?

2. What is the build number for ArcGIS Desktop? Instructions for providing the build number are available in the following post:

arcpy.LoadData_production - module object has no attribute

3. What is the build number for Production Mapping? Instructions for providing the build number are available in the following post:

https://community.esri.com/message/873806-arcpyloaddataproduction-module-object-has-no-attribute

4. Your Product Library is stored in what type of workspace (e.g. file geodatabase, SDE)? If SDE, what is the RDBMS?

Hi Dan,

OK, this is a little frustrating as all seems to be working again this morning, the only thing that was changes was some old users on a previous domain were removed.

Anyway to answer your questions

OS = windows 10 Pro 1930

ArcGIS Desktop = 10.5.1.7333

Production Mapping = 10.5.1.1851

The product library is stored in SDE using SQL Server 14.0.20272.2

and the results of the patch checker are

   ArcGIS Desktop 10.5.1
ArcGIS Desktop 10.5.1 SQL Server Permissions Patch
ArcGIS Desktop 10.5.1 Dialog Initialization Performance Patch
ArcGIS Desktop 10.5.1 ArcGIS Desktop 10.5.1 TLS Patch B

ArcGIS Workflow Manager 10.5.1 for Desktop

Esri Production Mapping 10.5.1 for Desktop
Esri Production Mapping 10.5.1 Patch 10 for Desktop
Esri Production Mapping 10.5.1 Patch 11 for Desktop

ArcGIS Data Reviewer 10.5.1 for Desktop
ArcGIS Data Reviewer 10.5.1 Patch 10 for Desktop
ArcGIS Data Reviewer 10.5.1 Patch 11 for Desktop

ArcGIS Desktop Background Geoprocessing 10.5.1 (64-bit)
