When using QuickCapture, I ran into the following issues

  1. When there is a pause (not clicking on the buttons), the app loses the count and did not save the record.
  2. The app seems to lose focus and the counts disappeared after clicking on the buttons more than a few times.

Please let me know how to proceed.  Thanks

Hi. I am not sure I am exactly capturing your issue here, but I will clarify how the app is supposed to work hoping this clarifies the behavior you are seeing.

When you capture a new entry with QuickCapture, the counter at the top will increase by one. By default, you will see the counter decrease regularly because the mobile app is configured (unless you explicitly change that), to send data automatically.

You can go into the app settings and control the auto-send policy.

Check your feature service to see all the features you captured from the field.

Ismael –

Thanks for the explanation. Yes, the app is set to send data every 30 seconds. I will verify if all my points were uploaded successfully. When I kept seeing the count decrease or revert to blank, it caused some concern. I wonder if the app should show the totals points collected and the total points captured and the points not yet (e.g., 15/2).
