We are using collector to undertake habitat field surveys on android devices - using collector version  18.0.3

The initial preparations (basemap, layer, etc) have been set for offline use in Arcgis online. the offline data collection does not lead to any problem, but as soon as we try to sync the offline edits an error message appears:

Service=https://services9.arcgis.com/RDkhya9AEnZa14Tz/arcgis/rest/services/NAMEOFTHELAYER/FeatureServer:Operation rolled back.

I see that this issues has come up before but none of the answers seem to apply. None of the feature layers have been overwritten or edited in GISonline while the users were collecting the data on the devices.

We have tried the process several time with different layers and through different devices (all android) but the problems remain.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We just started having this issue on Friday, August 30, 2019, and haven't been able to sync since then. Our Thursday sync worked fine, as did all of the previous daily syncs for the past 3 weeks.  We are using Collector (18.0.3) via an Android OS v8.1 Samsung Galaxy Tab A for this project. We've restarted the tablet with no success, and neither Collector nor Android looks to have updated in the past week on our device. Any ideas for getting the collected data off of our device or restoring the sync functionality?

We are also receiving the same error with a feature service that was working just a few weeks ago. This behavior occurs on both Android and iPhone (Collector classic). We rebuilt and republished the feature service, and then tested the service again. We were able to sync data once republished on multiple devices. Shortly after republishing, we received the same  error on a device (Android) that we successfully tested and synced. Would love to get a solution to this quickly!
Thank you!
