Viewshed vertical angle problem

I use ArcGiS 10.1 and I am doing some visibility analysis by using the viewshed tool. I need to set the vertical angle (VERT1-2) within a range between 0 and 180, but this parameter is enclosed between 90 and -90 so it didn’t permit me to calculate the visibility. Is there some way to perform this calculation?

Hi

The values are from the horizontal line that is zero.

+90 is basically unlimited (looking up to the sky) and -90 is looking directly down.

What do you mean when you say "within a range between 0 and 180"?

Mody Buchbinder‌ thank you for replying me, I meant that I need to set Vert1 as 0 and Vert2 as 180. I tried setting these parameters but the tool gave me error, so I presumed that it was because of the 180degrees angle value.

Hi Roberto

Why do you have to put 0 and 180 when -90 and +90 represent everything you can see

The tool is build to get -90 and 90 and cannot handle other values.

Please explain what vert2 = 180 represent.

Mody Buchbinder‌ Well, because I want to fix the visibility on the land/skyscape within these range. Therefore, being 90 degrees a fixed value I can’t type a bigger value, right?
