How do I program a search bar into the Story Map Cascade?

How do I add a search bar that will direct to "bookmarks" in a story map cascade?

i.e. A cascade map of the 50 states. I want to go strait to Nebraska, but don't want to scroll through the previous states to get there.

I am searching for a door, so just a starting point (what file I should edit the code in, etc.)

In order to help you find the answer to this question I'd suggest moving this content to the ArcGIS StoryMaps‌ space (if it's related to the latest product) or the Classic Esri Story Maps‌ (if it's the older product).
