How to disable the "copy survey" in sent surveys?

We have a couple of forms that are updating a feature service, so the users should only be editing and submitting through the Inbox functionality. They are not allowed to change their answers, after an inspection. However, when they want to make a change, they try to open the sent Survey. It asks them if they want to make a copy and they say yes, which adds a record as a copy to the dataset. This is highly undesirable, off-process, and I need to control it.

Is there a setting to disable the "make a copy" from the Sent box?

If not, what are you doing to control this at your organization? Please share any solutions or work-arounds, if you have conquered this issue.

Hi Mikaila

It is possible to disable the Sent box entirely via the Settings > Sent Surveys tab in Connect.

The ability to disable the "Copy the sent data to a new survey" option has previously been logged as an enhancement request. I will add your comments to our notes. No timeline for this to be implemented at this stage, but please see more discussion on this here:

It has also been raised as an Idea that you can vote for here:

Kind regards,
