Searching the Geoprocessing Model and Script Tool Gallery

Hi Folks,

I was trying to look something up in the Geoprocessing Model and Script Tool Gallery:

http://resources.arcgis.com/gallery/file/geoprocessing

And I can't seem to find the old search functionality they had available.  For example, you could search on functionality, language, author, etc.  The search bar in the upper right corner returns general results for Arc10 help, but I'm interested in searching only within the gallery.  The sorting links don't serve my purpose either.  It's fine to know the most popular postings, for example, but doesn't aid a problem-driven search.  Am I missing something obvious or has ESRI made the scripts gallery site much less useful?

Thanks.

Not as good as the old ArcScripts site, but you can use Google's site: specifier like so site:resources.arcgis.com/gallery/file/geoprocessing and then your search terms. Better than nothing, I suppose.

Example: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site%3Aresources.arcgis.com%2Fgallery%2Ffile%2Fgeoprocessing+zi...

Heh.  Thanks, Dan.  Looks like I arrived late at the party.
It's funny, I'm fairly certain that when they created the new gallery, they still kept had the search functionality of the old one.  That means it's not that they haven't gotten around to creating it yet.  But rather, they are unexplainably withholding it.

And thanks, Logan, for your post.  I always forget how to do that.  You're right, often google is better than using an internal site search.

I can not believe that ESRI did not put a search function in the Scripts  gallery.  You can always spend your entire week scanning through each page.

I started a new thread on this over at
http://forums.arcgis.com/threads/26774-Searching-the-Script-Tool-Gallery  in the "Resource Center Site Feedback" forum.  I agree with everything that has been written here about it.
