This would be useful for dynamically generated models from various data sources.
3D model types we support are defined by a third party library, assimp (http://www.assimp.org/), included in Runtime. This enables Runtime to work with industry standard 3D model formats instead of inventing and maintaining our own. I'm assuming the use of an in-memory representation of a 3D model would be used in cases where you want to create/modify model structure/properties on the fly. Is this the scenario you're interested in or is there another? Depending on the 3D model format desired, you would use an appropriate API to create it. Is there a 3D model format/API you have in mind? Of course Runtime would have to support referencing a byte array/memory stream/etc as a source for a model marker symbol for this to work. Keep in mind, this would also be a Runtime only developer solution - you would have to convert to a file/format to share with other clients.
