Reports export fail and formatting issues

I am trying to utilize the new reporting features in Pro 2.3, but am having a few issues that make it unusable.

1) The number of fields (or columns) seems to be maxed out at 6. No matter how many fields I choose when designing the report, I only ever get the first 6 applied to my layout. I've tried rebuilding the report multiple times with wider page formats and narrower margins, to no avail. 

2) Exporting my report fails if I use any time of grouping. When I run the report without grouping, it will export just fine (with only 6 fields that is...). 

Anyone have similar issues? Trying to figure out if this is specific to my project or not.
