Hello,
I have a question regarding data access within ArcReader.
We have a SQL Server Enterprise Geodatabase with SDE feature classes.
These feature classes are added to a variety of maps and published via Publisher for ArcReader user access.
If a user does not have the full version of ArcGIS Desktop installed on their computer all links within ArcReader are broken. In order for the broken links to be repaired I need to install ArcGIS Desktop on the computer and add Database Connections via ArcCatalog that contain the necessary files on the SDE.
This seems counter intuitive to me.
Can someone please advise?
