Hello Geonet community? When performing overlay weighted analysis, must all your criteria have to be reclassified into a uniform scale (let's say 5 classes) or you can have some with 3 classes?

My initial goal was to use 5 classes, however, I am dealing with soil dataset which can only be reclassified into 3 classes based on my area of study, the other datasets include slope, roads, rivers, land use landCover etc which can be reclassified into 5 classes.

You do not have to classify all the input into 5 classes. If a raster with 5 classes has values from 1 to 5, another raster could have 3 classes and use values 1, 3 and 5. The weights assigned to each raster will determine the influence of that raster on the result.

I did try this and got an output of 4 classes instead of the intended 5 classes.

Can you provide some screenshots of your input data and the configuration of the tool?
