I am interested in creating a 3D scene in scene displaying a historical area of my community as it was in the 1930's. I have accurate 3D polygons representing real buildings from the 1930's. I want to texture the buildings using photos from that time period. This is fairly easy for photos that are taken straight forward facing the building front. However, it seems that the style of the time was to take photos of buildings at a corner from a 45 degree angle.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can texture buildings using these photos. Right now my best option is to manipulate the photo in photoshop, stretching it to the best i can to get a front facing image.
