4.9 JS API: Dgrid cutoff when viewDiv overflow set to hidden

I am adding a dgrid to a map based off of this sample: Highlight features by geometry | ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4.9

The dgrid is displaying the attributes of my feature layer correctly, however the bottom rows are being cutoff. At first It thought it was an error with the dgrid not loading the rest of the rows but I found that if I changed the viewDiv's style from `overflow: hidden;` to `overflow:visible;` then I could scroll down and see the last few rows. Looking back at the sample I saw that the sample's dgrid displays correctly in the sandbox but shows the same issue that I am experiencing in the live sample.

dgrid with rows cutoff

changing overflow to visible shows cutoff rows

As you can see in the above images changing the overflow css property allows for the remaining rows to be seen. However, this also adds scroll bars the map which is not ideal. Adding `overflow: visible;` to the gridDisplay div adds a second scroll bar which does work but is confusing and interferes with the operation of the dgrid's scrollbar.

Any ideas on how to fix this?
