Cannot read SQL (non-spatial) Table in ArcGIS

I have some tables in a SQL Server 2014 db.

Some are correctly previewed/imported in ArcGIS (both ArcMap and Pro), some are not (same, neither Map nor Pro).

The thing is: those that are not read contains a field named "IDENTITY" which happens to be a reserved SQL keyword (Reserved Keywords (Transact-SQL) | Microsoft Docs ).

I worked around this issue by creating a view in SQL which aliases the IDENTITY field with "WHATEVER" name, and indeed that worked.

As I cannot directly modify the original SQL db where these tables are stored, is there any workaround ArcGIS-side that you know of?

Thanks.
