Odd Error

I have an arcpy addin that was working just fine last week when I left on Friday.  When I try it today, I get an error:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "C:\Users\JBorgione\AppData\Local\ESRI\Desktop10.5\AssemblyCache\{5E976BE6-C8D3-441F-9AC6-80B823FF027A}\CheckOutMasterStreets_addin.py", line 88, in onClick
arcpy.CreateReplica_management(in_data, replica_type, output_workspace, replica_name, access_type, initial_sender, expand, reuse_schema, get_related,replica_geometry, archiving)
File "c:\program files (x86)\arcgis\desktop10.5\arcpy\arcpy\management.py", line 983, in CreateReplica
raise e
ExecuteError: ERROR 000582: Error occurred during execution.
Failed to execute (CreateReplica).

The actual error 000582 is one of ESRI's famous 'tell me nothing' error, but indicates a parameter problem.  Line 88 in my script is indeed a parameter for creating a checkout replica:

access_type = "FULL"

But Like I said, this script ran fine 96 hours ago on Friday, and I didn't do any editing to it at all....

The reference to the 'AssemblyCache' directory is puzzling as welI; it doesn't exist at all.....
