autoplay=1 youtube doesnt work on tabbed story map?

Using tabbed map theme and want to autoplay a youtube video. however using the "?autoplay=1" parameter does not work... is this a limitation for story maps?

Joe -- If you want to utilize YouTube URL parameters you can add your video link to the story map as Web Page instead of Video content.

Keep in mind, however, that in general autoplaying videos with sound is not encouraged. In fact, if your video has sound, web browsers may block autoplaying it based on their content policies.

I found that using cascade the autoplay and loop parameters work fine but tabbed story maps is buggy sometimes its executed other times its not.
