Hi everyone,
I've looked around the web but I couldn't find any that specifically said yes or no that this could be done. I only have a company AGOL account. A community I work with needs to have one or more data layers placed in a web GIS environment so they can use it within a permitting program (ViewPoint) they are using. The permitting program requires a dynamic REST feature service and https link in order to integrate it into their program.
Will uploading a data set (in this case parcels) into AGOL as a feature service meet the dynamic REST feature service requirement or do I need to do/need something else in order to do that?
Thanks for any help you can provide on this.
Matt
I think it would need to be the people who want to connect to our REST services to determine whether the capabilities of our services meet their needs. Here's a link to an entry point in our REST documentation.
Working with services you've published—ArcGIS REST API: Services Directory | ArcGIS for Developers
Also, hosting services will require the community organization to have a subscription to ArcGIS Online.
Hope this helps,
Mike
