Within the container of a button add-in, how do I make use of the "Add Event Wiring for New and Open Documents" snippet? All I have right now is the default Button1.vb that is created by the wizard. What next?

Well, maybe there is a way to listen to document events within only a button in your add-in, but I discovered that I could simply create an add-in that uses a button AND an application extension (duh!). The stub code for the extension lays the rest out pretty clearly. Be sure to click 'auto load' - or put autoLoad="true" in the <Extension> element in the config file - in order to have the code loaded (and the event handlers set up) each time you open a document.
