I can't seem to get this widget to function??  I've only set up one layer to search for, but it never seems to load?

Rick,

No that is not correct the Portal folder will not be under the wwwroot folder. More like C:/Program Files/ArcGIS/...

Rick,

What are the details of your environment?

WAB Developer edition? What Version?

or

AGOL?

or

Portal on premise what version?

What version of the eSearch did you download?

We are running Portal 10.6 on premise.  I downloaded version 2.7

Rick,

The big thing you need to understand is the onPremise Portals WAB is not the same version as WAB Dev or AGOL.

About release versions—Portal for ArcGIS | ArcGIS Enterprise

This mean Portal 10.6 is using WAB 2.6.

What errors are shown in your browsers web console?

Sorry Robert....I'm still new to Portal and WAB, but I am enjoying learning so far.  That's the thing....there aren't any errors.  The box pops up but 3 grey dots flicker like it's loading the widget, but nothing ever shows up.

Rick,

If the widget just sits there with the loading... image then there should be an error in your browsers developer tools console. Press F12  and look in the console.

Rick,

Is there anything else there that mentions the eSearch? Are there any more errors when you open the eSearch?
