I want to be able to add photos as selection options for users taking a survey. Is there a way to do this via the web interface?
Can you please expand on what you mean by "add photos as selection options"? Can you provide an example of the workflow you are trying to achieve?
Sure. For example, a question like "Which one of the following is a banana?" on the survey would show the following photos/images as selection options:
option 1: image of an apple
option 2: image of a banana
option 3: image of Danny Devito with a Rum Ham
The user would then select the photo/image they think is correct and move on to the next question.
Thanks for the additional information, currently you can not create and configure select_one questions with media via the Web Designer. However you can achieve this using Survey123 Connect using the image/audio media options available. If you do publish your survey via Connect, users can then complete the survey via the web app or mobile app and see the images/audio related to a select one question.
You can find an sample of how to create media with select_one questions in the Survey123 Connect in the shared Samples.
Thanks for the pointers! I was able to successfully create the survey with images using Connect. However, do you know if there is a specific type for the "Appearance" field to be able to change the appearance or format of how those images appear on the survey itself?
For example, I have a question that compares two images and asks the user to select one. Instead of having one image on top and the second below the first, it would make more sense to have them side by side for a better comparison.
