Timeout Error when downloading

Hello everyone,

I'm sure I'm experience first-time user error. I wanted to download a topop map of North America and I believe I chose the correct Topographic map from the ArcGIS Live dropdown. I selected the map area and the extension was able to generate the map in the Compilation window. I click download and it gets to 10% and says "ERROR: Timeout exceeded" in the status bar. 

It seemed easy enough to get started but it would be great if anyone would help me troubleshoot.

I'm working with a 2017 MacBook Pro on High Sierra, Adobe Illustrator 21.0.2, and ArcGis trial account.

Hi,

About how long does the download run before you see the timeout error?

The timeout error shows up after 1 minute.

What operating system, Illustrator version, and Maps for Creative Cloud version are you running?

Do you have any older versions of Illustrator installed (CS6, CS5, etc)?
