GPS points in improper locations?

Hi all,

I am a new user to ArcGIS and just recently had a project where I took GPS coordinates using a Garmin etrex 30x and when I uploaded the data to ArcGIS, the points aren't in line with the World Imagery maps.

In the picture above the points should be at the outside corners of the ruins above. Is there something I can do on ArcGIS's end to get these points in line with where they should be? Or is this perhaps due to the GPS itself?

Thanks for any advice,

Sean
