File types with Google Drive File Stream

In my day to day, I work a lot with single band DEM raster.  Often they are used to create contours and various other needs.  My hard drive started to fill up and this work was my biggest culprit.  I wanted to save space, so I moved the folder to Google Drive File Stream.  On my computer and on ArcPro, it looks like an extra hard drive.  All the shape files I had and Geo-databases load up just fine except for my DEM's.  Every one I try says it is an unsupported file type.  If I try to look under the properties I get a: Failed to obtain data source info error.

I can take the same files, copy them out of Google, put them on my physical hard drive and they work just like they are intended to.  Has anyone else used file stream and have this issue?
